At our May 2012 Teen Adivsory Committee Meeting, the teens on the Teen Advisory committee judged our 2012 Teen Drawing Contest and selected a piece by Kelly Wood as the winner in the manga-style division and Maddie Piontek's piece as the winner in the traditional division.

The Movie Nite @ the Library series continues at Civic Center Library on Saturday, June 2, at 7:00 p.m. This month's PG-13 movie is about a white southern society girl in the 1960s named Skeeter. After she returns home from college, Skeeter creates a ruckus in her hometown when she interviews the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families.

The winner of the 2012 Teen Flash Fiction Contest is Tamia Taylor for her short piece, "Wingless." For this contest, entrants had to create a story in 100 words or less.

Noble Library is hosting our fifth annual Wii Super Smash Brothers Brawl tournament for Teens in grades 7 - 12! All who wish to participate must be in the playing area in our basement @ 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 30. This will be a single elimination bracket tournament and first round opponents will be chosen at random.
