Displays

There are display areas -- cases or bulletin boards -- at each of the libraries that are available for short-term exhibits. Contact the individual library for availability. See our display policy for guidelines.

Art Gallery
The Livonia Arts Commission maintains a one thousand square foot art gallery on the second floor at Civic Center Library. Call Community Resources at (734) 466-2540 for exhibit information.

Meeting Rooms
Alfred Noble Library has a meeting room in the basement. This room can accommodate up to 40 people. Please note: the Alfred Noble Library's meeting room is not handicap accessible.

Carl Sandburg Library has a meeting room that can accommodate up to 75 people.

Civic Center Library has a conference wing with four meeting rooms and an auditorium. Each of the meeting rooms can accommodate up to 40 people. Three of the meeting rooms can be combined to accommodate larger groups. The auditorium seats 290 people. There is also a small meeting room on the third floor at Civic Center that can accommodate up to 15 people. Meeting Room Fact Sheet Meeting Room Reservation Forms

Study Rooms
Alfred Noble Library has a study room that can accommodate up to 12 people. It is available on a first come, first served basis at no charge.

Carl Sandburg Library has a meeting room that can accommodate up to 75 people that may be used for group study free of charge.

Civic Center Library does not have a group study "room". There are designated areas on the first and second floors where tables are set up for group study. There is a quiet study room on the second floor that can accommodate up to 10 individuals. No talking or computer use is allowed in this room.
