Online Library Card Application

This online application is for Livonia residents who do not already have a library card. Already have a card and need to update your information? Use our online update form and we'll take care of the rest.

If you need to renew or replace your current Livonia card, or if you are not a resident of Livonia, but qualify for a Livonia card, you must visit one of the Livonia Libraries in person. If you're not sure if you qualify for a Livonia card, call the circulation department at (734) 466-2491. Filling out this form will allow us to create your card prior to your visit to the library.

Please Note:

• Allow 24 hours for your online application to be processed. Your new card will be available to pick up for up to 3 months after you have applied.


• Please bring your driver's license orother IDto pick up your card.


• Parents must accompany children under the age of 16 to pick up a card. Parents and persons aged 16 or older must have verification of Livonia address.


• Fill out one application for each person, please.
